Client & Diagnosis

Client Profile: The client who wants the most dramatically cool result possible — near-white in tone with a cold, bright, almost luminescent quality. Requires Level 10 canvas and a client who understands the structural commitment required.
Hair History: Minimum two prior bleach sessions to reach Level 10. Bond support used throughout. Elasticity test critical — on Level 10 hair, elasticity is almost always at state 2 to 3. No deposited color history.
Hair Diagnosis: Canvas Level 10 — fully lifted, pale yellow to white-yellow. Cuticle state 2–3. High porosity means toner will absorb rapidly and process faster than on less porous hair.
Current Level: Level 10 (fully lifted canvas — pale yellow to white-yellow)
Target Level: Level 10 Icy Cool — near-white blonde with a cool, clean dimension

The Formula

Formula: 10g 10/1 (Extra Light Ash) + 10g 0/11 (Blue-Ash Intensifier) + 10g 10/2 (Extra Light Violet) + 10g 10/0 (Natural Extra Light) + 60ml developer
Mixing Ratio: 40g product : 60ml developer (1:1.5)
Developer: 1.5% / 5 Vol only. Never increase developer on Level 10 hair.
Timing: 10–15 minutes MAXIMUM. Check at 10 minutes. On highly porous hair (state 3): check at 8 minutes.
Expected Lift: Zero. Pure tone deposit on fully lifted canvas.

Intelligence Layer

Why It Works: At Level 10, the canvas has minimal residual pigment — the warm yellow is faint. The toner does not need to neutralize heavy warmth; it needs to add a cool dimension without overdoing it. The balanced combination of /1 (ash-blue) and /2 (violet) at equal concentrations prevents either tone from dominating. The 10/0 natural prevents the result from reading flat or grey. The 0/11 intensifier adds the final degree of cooling needed to push the pale yellow canvas to "icy." [S2]
Common Mistakes: (1) Applying on a Level 9 canvas — the residual yellow is too strong and the result reads purple-grey. Always verify Level 10 before applying. (2) Processing beyond 15 minutes — on highly porous Level 10 hair, over-toning happens quickly. CONSEQUENCE: Grey-toned result that is difficult to correct. [S2]
Alternatives: BL-C-002 (Pearly Ash) for a more luminous, less stark icy result. BL-S-003 (Pearl Platinum) for a fuller platinum commitment.
Maintenance: This is the highest-maintenance blonde result in the library. Toner refresh every 3–4 weeks. Home: purple shampoo used carefully (1× per week maximum). Bond maintenance 3× per week.
