Client & Diagnosis
- Client Profile
- Client who wants a blonde that looks completely natural — no obvious warm or cool direction, simply "their own hair, but better." Often describes goal as "natural," "effortless," "like I was born with it." Works across all skin tones.
- Hair History
- Canvas Level 8–9. This formula works best from a relatively balanced canvas — Level 8 gold or Level 9 yellow-gold.
- Hair Diagnosis
- Canvas Level 8–9, tone gold to yellow-gold. At Level 8 gold, the formula reads warmer-neutral. At Level 9 yellow-gold, it reads cooler-neutral. Both are valid expressions.
- Current Level
- Level 8–9
- Target Level
- Level 8–9 Natural Neutral Blonde — neither warm nor cool, simply natural
The Formula
- Formula

- Mixing Ratio
- 40g product : 60ml developer (1:1.5)
- Developer
- 1.5% / 5 Vol
- Timing
- 15–20 minutes. Open air.
- Expected Lift
- Zero.
Intelligence Layer
- Why It Works
- The /0 (natural) base provides the dimensional, multi-toned quality of naturally grown-out blonde. The /1 (ash) provides partial cool correction of the canvas warmth without completely neutralizing it. The /3 (gold) ensures the result does not drift into the ash family. The ratio (20:15:5) is deliberately imbalanced toward natural, with ash as the second component and gold as the subtle warmth anchor. [S2]
- Common Mistakes
- (1) Using equal parts natural and ash (20g:20g) — this formula drifts into the ash family on most canvases. The natural must dominate. (2) Omitting the gold component — without the /3, the result on Level 9 canvas reads subtly cool rather than neutral.
- Alternatives
- BL-N-002 (Beige Blonde) for a warm-leaning neutral. BL-C-001 (Smoky Ash) if the client's true preference is cool. BL-W-002 (Golden Blonde) if the client's true preference is warm.
- Maintenance
- Refresh every 5–7 weeks. Home: neutral shampoo (neither purple nor gold-enhancing).
AI & Case Layer
- AI Decision Logic
- IF canvas = Level 8–9 AND target = natural / no obvious direction THEN route to BL-N-001. IF client says "natural" but shows warm inspiration images THEN cross-reference BL-W-002.
- Similar Cases
- BL-N-002 (Beige — warm-neutral), BL-N-003 (Sandy — earthy neutral)
This is a recommendation. Professional assessment and judgment are required before application. Canvas level, structural condition, and chemical history must be assessed physically at the chair.
